Choose your Pictures

The first thing you need to do when deciding to create a slideshow is gathering all the pictures you want to show on the slideshow. Choose your photographs carefully. Try to choose ones that are in focus, clean and have little to no damage. Keep in mind that poor quality photos can alter the outcome of the photo dvd slide show.

 

You can arrange the order of the photos as you want them to appear at this time, or you can do this arrangement after scanning them on to the computer. If you are having Shock Events scan your pictures, then you should arrange your photos at this time.

 

Choose your Package


Because you chose your pictures and arranged them in order, you should count and see how many pictures you are showing. You can then view our packages and select the one that best fits your quantity of pictures. We have the Basic package starting from 25 pictures to the Elite package showing 150 pictures.

 

All packages are customizable and you can add or remove pictures from each package to fit your needs.

 

Arranging Your Photos


You have all your photos arranged in the order you want to show them. but before submitting them to Shock Events Miami, you must number your photographs in the order in which you would like the photos to appear.

 

Place a number on a small sticker on the back of each picture (such as Avery Label #05799-Round Dots) then place the sticker on the bottom right corner of the picture. You can use a ball-point pen or other smudge proof pen that is easy to read, colored stickers are fine if your numbers are clear.

 

Please do not label the photographs on the front as the glue could damage your photos. Digital Photos may be submitted by CD or DVD. Make sure you label them in the order they will be shown. If you have any video clips that you would like to add, label this as well each photo and video clips should have a unique number.

 

If you are dividing your slideshow into sections, Do not start each group over again with the number one. All video clips must be submitted digitalized or additional charges will be applied for this conversion.

 

Choose your Music


You may send in your own music on CD, original CD's are fine, burned or MP3 are accepted. Shock Events adheres to the Music and Publishing Copyright laws. If you would like to use a song from a CD that you have purchased, you must mail in the original CD. Shock Events will return the original CD with your photos and your new Photo DVD Slideshow. We do not copy the song for further use. If you do not own the song(s) that you wish to use on your video, Shock Events will purchase it on iTunes on your behalf.

 

When we send you the final copy of your Photo DVD Slideshow, we will send you a receipt from iTunes for your purchase. In case there is any questioning about your copyright privileges in regards to the music, you will have proof of purchase. If we must purchase the songs on your behalf, please provide us with the song title and the artist names. Shock Events will purchase the total number of songs per copies of the photo dvd slideshow.

 

Shock Events will delete the songs after your photo dvd slideshow has been created. Your music will be returned to you with your pictures. Please make sure to plan enough music for your entire collage.

 

Choose Additional Features for your Slideshow


Shock Events offers a great variety of additional features to give personality to your video. Choose from personalized backgrounds to photo effects and even add some animation slides. This will transform your slideshow from a simple slideshow into a great animated movie full of personality.

If you live in the Miami (South Florida) area you may choose to set up a one on one meeting to discuss your slide show goals and to submit all your photos.

 

Packaging Your Materials


When sending your materials, please pack all of your materials very carefully. Place your original photos in a zip lock bag. Place the photos, music CD's, signed client agreement, completed Project Planner, and $50.00 deposit into your mailing package and mail them to

Payment Terms


Shock Events accepts all forms of payments. Cash, money orders, checks, and credit cards. If paying with credit card please download and print the credit card authorization form and mail together with your Project. Payment schedule will be as followed.

 

$50.00 deposit is due upon booking the job.

 

50% of remaining balance is due upon first DVD review

 

Remaining balance will be due after you have given your final okay and no further changes are needed. Your Photo DVD slideshow must be paid in full before Shock Events mails the final copy.
